Get Ready for Summer Squash Camps! ☀️

Looking for an active, fun-filled way for children aged 6-13 to spend their summer holidays? Join one or more of our 12 Summer Squash Camps running every Tuesday and Thursday throughout July and August at the Sport Wales National Centre (SWNC) in Cardiff.

Perfect for all levels, these camps focus on learning, playing, and making new friends. It's just £25 for a day or £240 for all 12 sessions. Children will be looked after by Squash Wales' trained coaches and all attendees will be eligible for a one-year child's membership to Squash Wales!

A Night to Remember: Presentation Evening 2025 🏆

Our Squash Wales Presentation Evening was a sell-out success, celebrating another fantastic season with our community! The evening ran smoothly, and we're grateful to everyone who contributed to its success, from our brilliant sponsors to the excellent staff at The Leonardo Hotel.

Making History: The Welsh Wheelchair Open! 🧑‍🦽

Squash Wales is incredibly excited to announce the inaugural Welsh Wheelchair Open at Rhiwbina Squash Club on Saturday, 13th September, 2025! This historic event is a key milestone in making squash more inclusive and accessible in Wales.

We spoke with Richard Plenty from Rhiwbina Squash Club about how they have found preparing for the tournament and what adaptations have been made to the game. And, to help everyone understand the rules and adaptations of wheelchair squash, we've created a short animation.

Important Reminder: League AGM 2nd July 📆 

A quick reminder that the League Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Wednesday, 2nd July, at 7:00 PM via Zoom. The agenda has been circulated to all Club Leads, covering a number of important items that need to be covered and adopted.

It's crucial that your club is part of this process. All clubs are invited, and we're offering 10 league points per team for the Winter 2025 season to all clubs who attend! Please ensure your club is represented.

Summer National Squads Update 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Our National Squads are preparing for a busy summer with dedicated training sessions at the Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff:

  • U11/13 National Squad: Friday, August 15th, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, SWNC Cardiff

  • U15 National Squad: Wednesday, August 13th, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, SWNC Cardiff

  • U17/19 National Squad: Wednesday, August 20th, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, SWNC Cardiff
